My Appearance on The Gentlemen’s Club

We last talked about Vegas, to a blonde pornstar, a radio host, a different pornstar, a funny actress, some funny PAULs, a porn nurse, and an entrepreneur.

Paul “The King of TV” Goebel [Twitter] is a stand-up comic, a television nerd, a TV personality himself, and the host of The Paul Goebel Show (a great, fun tv-centric podcast on which I recently guested.) (more…)

Since I watch a lot of television with my kids, I often have to point out to them that while a character might be hilarious to watch, they aren’t necessarily a good role model. This inevitably brings up the question, “Why are the funniest characters on television the worst role models?” Well, to disprove that premise, here are some of the best role models for children. The Day I Met Mr. T

The other day, my kid asked me who was the biggest celebrity I had ever met and I told them this story.

As many of you know, in the year 2000 I was crowned TV Land’s Ultimate Fan. It was a great experience that I will always remember. Every fall since my children have been alive, I have asked myself the same question, “Would I let my kids watch this show?” It’s a strange question because the answer is rarely a simple yes or no. The answers are usually a mix of the following… (more…)

Even More Family Spinoffs

Posted on: September 15th, 2011 by admin No Comments

When one of our favorite TV shows goes off the air, it can be devastating. However, many times, the cancellation is the birth of a spinoff. Sometimes it can be a great thing (Benson) and sometimes not so much (Hangin’ In). Here are some spinoff ideas that I would love to see. (more…)

The Lying Game

Posted on: September 1st, 2011 by admin No Comments

Well, ABC Family has done it again. Done what, you ask? Created another crappy TV show. This one is called The Lying Game.

The premise is a twist on The Prince and the Pauper. Twins are separated at birth. One is adopted by a rich family and the other grows up in a foster home. They find each other and the prefab poop hits the poorly constructed fan. (more…)
